Developing Roles for Phosphates in Systems Chemistry
Welcome to the Pappas Research Group
The fundamental research questions that drive our work are why Nature chose phosphates in almost all biological functions and how we can develop roles for non-biological phosphates in systems chemistry. We approach these questions by incorporating structural and recognition elements in the structure of aminoacyl phosphate esters.
Extremely happy to receive an ERC Starting grant!!!! Thanks to the @ERC_Research, my group will explore phosphate-driven systems chemistry concepts and how we can develop roles for phosphates outside of biology!!! 1/1 https://t.co/AlOKPrMBd9
